General Info

We invite you to join the Avondale team as we develop thinkers, problem solvers and communicators on their path to college, career and life. Our mission, “Passion and Commitment for Educational Excellence” is celebrated throughout our school and community. Avondale Elementary School District is a progressive preK-8 district located 15 miles west of downtown Phoenix. Our schools serve the students of Avondale and Goodyear, two developing communities of the west valley along the I-10 corridor. We have approximately 5800 students in nine schools and an alternative education program. Strong local support has resulted in our district being able to offer special area classes, competitive athletics and 1-1 technology devices for our children.
