Our Vision - STAR Academy is an educational programs that provides services for students in grades K-8.  The program is made up of four classrooms.  The following are the classrooms and the description of services provided within STAR.  The program consists of cross-categorical self-needs within a special education placement.  Placement in the program is deemed by the individual education plan (IEP).  This plan will include an exit plan, which includes specific criteria.
STAR has been designed:
  • To promote growth
  • To foster student success in school
  • To encourage students to return to their home school
  • To provide educational opportunities for students who would otherwise fall behind
