A.E.S.D. Athletic Mission Statement

The mission statement of the AESD #44 Athletic Department is to serve the needs of our student population through extracurricular activities. It is firmly believed that our programs offered in athletics support academic learning as well as are a positive influence toward student successes in school. Through sports, our students are educated in lifetime skill areas of team unity, pride and loyalty, as well as sportsmanship. Furthermore, we stand proud with our tradition of excellence and a philosophy, which conveys our athletic program as a privilege and not a right. With this privilege comes the responsibility of maintaining high academic, conduct, moral and ethical standards.
